The chicken had a decent flavor, but it still tasted processed. And with a price tag of $5.29 (! ), there’s no incentive ever to order this.
McDonald’s Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich
McDonald’s latest offering is more pricey, at $5.79 than KFC and Popeyes, which charge $3.99. The chicken patty does a little thin, and the batter had an odd flavor that I couldn’t place. This sandwich didn’t appeal to me in the least.

It also lacked pickles, opting instead for lettuce and tomato. Even though it didn’t taste as processed as BK’s other sandwiches, you wouldn’t choose it over a Whopper.

This sandwich was packed with lettuce, tomato, and pickles, and it was brimming with toppings. The chicken stayed wet and delicious, and the patty was somewhat larger than McDonald’s and Burger King’s. It had an excellent, broad flavour profile, thanks to the toppings. This was my favorite of the three fast-food behemoths.
